Spring tension clamps can be applied in a fraction of the time required for ordinary screw clamps and assure uniform pressure by eliminating the hand-tightening operation. The clamp illustrated has a Zamac alloy yoke and a steel spring which provides 70 pounds of clamping pressure. These clamps are also available with the 70 - pound spring and a steel yoke to be used in areas where extreme heat would affect an alloy metal.
