When you send us your damaged, faulty or non-working tools, we conduct a thorough assessment to check that a repair is viable.

  • If it can be repaired, we’ll send you or call you with a ballpark estimate of the cost.
  • If not, we’ll let you know and explain why. (We can then help you select a new one from our extensive range.)

We test every repaired tool to ensure it is working properly and re-calibrate to the original specs if required. We are warranty agents for leading brand including Desoutter and Gesipa. We provide our own warranty on all our repairs, and a manufacturers’ warranty on any fitted OEM spare parts.

The final repair cost will depend on what our specialist repair technicians may find once the tool is disassembled, plus the time taken for the repair, any parts required, and the cost of returning your tool to you.

Precision power tools are tested and calibrated by the manufacturers’ so they arrive with you ready to use. Over time, usage and wear and tear reduces the accuracy of the tool, making it at best inefficient and at worse inaccurate.

Regular calibration ensures your tools meet the requirements of ISO and national calibration standards, and provides proof of proper tool care in the case of liability issues.

All our tool calibrations adhere to the strict criteria set by the manufacturer, and where possible, we use specific test equipment that is calibrated by the manufacturers. themselves.

Please note we cannot provide UKAS certification, but we do issue our own calibration certificate for each tool.

Our calibration service includes:

  • Full Machine Capability Test (MCT)
  • Traceable calibration to national standards, following ISO17025
  • Tool adjustment to correct calibration
  • Pass/fail statement
  • Advice on repairs required if a tool fails to calibrate properly
  • Profession lab based testing available – ask for details
